You might have gotten your SPF down pat but chances are you’re in front of your smartphone or laptop more than under the sun these days. For this, Laneige has two new cushion foundations in the Neo Cushion series that offers blue light protection, an especially useful addition to your makeup routine since blue light penetrates into the skin more deeply than UV rays. The Matte version sees a 24-hour sweat-resistant formula that regulates sebum and offers medium to full buildable coverage, while the Glow option lends a healthy shine with niacinamide and Liquid Diamond powder. Expect dewiness that lasts up to 24 hours.

This year, the Maison explores the contrast of light and shade with L’Ombre des Merveilles. Diptyque’s latest fragrance is a romantic tribute to “La Rose du Louvre”, an original created by its namesake artist Jean-Michel Othoniel that honours a single vivid red rose painted by Rubens in ‘The Marriage of Mary of Medici and Henry IV’. Like his work, the queen of flowers is put on a pedestal here, combining the sensual fragrance of peppery rose with the spicy and slightly smoky woody scent of vetiver. The limited edition eau de toilette also features the artist’s work.
What happens when you pair a London perfumer with one of the most famous floral boutiques in the world? Miller Harris has partnered with McQueens (the official floral designer for Vanity Fair’s Oscars After Party for the last 25 years) to launch three limited edition scented candles. Each candle represents a different element of the flower designer’s bustling workshop whilst staying relevant to the purity of flowers and foliage; Petal Storm, for example, is a delicate marriage of white florals and pink pepper on an evocative base of amber and musk.
