When Pat McGrath’s eponymous makeup line dropped on her website in 2015, makeup fanatics swept those digital shelves like a storm. Her first product, a metallic pigment kit titled Gold 001, was instantly wiped out, and every subsequent new product on the brand was met with equal fervour. The hype is expected for a name that has become a force that defines contemporary makeup artistry. She has done 3,000 runway shows across her 25 years in the business, and atop that, her skills have graced many covers of prominent fashion glossies, even now.
It’s been three years since her line, Pat McGrath Labs has evolved from being sold on just her website, and has moved on to physical retail spaces at Sephora in the States, as well as e-commerce giants like Net-A-Porter. The product line has grown in tandem, with eyeshadows, more pigments, highlighters and lipsticks completing the range. With the public still as drawn to McGrath’s vision of beauty as ever, the news that her brand is launching on sephora.com.sg come 6 December 2018 has us clapping with glee. Following the soft launch, the products will enter local Sephora stores in the first quarter of 2019.
