After finding out last week that pop princess Britney Spears will be performing here in June, we were treated to even more good news yesterday: Singer Ed Sheeran is coming to town in November, for a one-night-only concert at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. For those who missed out on his first sold-out show here in 2015, here’s an opportunity to make up for it. We’re so psyched about watching him play his latest hits such as Galway Girl and Shape of You, as well as classics like Thinking Out Loud and Photograph.
We’re also looking forward to exploring Imaginarium: To the Ends of the Earth, an exhibition that launches tomorrow at SAM @ 8Q and showcases a line-up of interactive art displays, installations, workshops and short films. The family-friendly event ends 27 August.
If you need more ideas for the weekend, we suggest dropping by the new Firebake — Woodfired Bakehouse & Restaurant for freshly baked sourdough goodness, going shopping at some of our favourite sustainable fashion labels, and rounding off your evening with cocktails and tapas.
Bread takes centre stage at Firebake, which makes all of its sourdough from scratch using two wood-fired ovens. Located along East Coast Road, the restaurant also serves European-inspired cuisine. Here’s what to order when you next visit.
Bar grub gets extra fancy at these tapas bars, which offer substantial, savoury fare such as truffle naan, duck rillettes, and clams in kimchi broth. Pair these with some excellent tipples, and you’re all set for a good night out.
Shop for a good cause at these 7 sustainable fashion brands, which are committed to minimising environmental pollution and global warming. Saving the earth has never looked as chic.
Make your next vacation one to remember, by heading to these 5 unconventional and off-the-grid destinations, which range from the majestic mountains of Almaty, Kazakhstan, to Tibet’s stunning Hoh Xil.

We’re obsessed with Chanel’s Summer 2017 Ombré Premiere Eyes Collection — especially the cream eyeshadow in Pourpre Profond, a beautiful burgundy with a hint of mother of pearl.
