As we draw closer to the start of Formula 1 season in Singapore, we’re already making a list of what to do over the adrenaline-packed weekend, which lasts from 16 to 18 September, 2016. Watching the night race is, of course, our top priority, but there is also a host of lavish after-parties to look forward to.

Held at the city’s hottest nightspots and eateries — some of which are situated near the race tracks so you don’t miss out on any of the action — these swanky shindigs are the perfect excuse for you to let your hair down and party the night away. And who knows, you might even bump into some celebrities or race car drivers at these events.

From a cabaret-styled bash to a three-day extravaganza featuring international DJs and a farmer’s market, here are 5 parties to see and be seen at, during the Singapore F1 weekend. Don’t forget to put on your dancing shoes.

Situated at a special club set-up at Temasek Reflection behind Millenia Walk, this glitzy after-party takes place on 17 and 18 September. Guests can look forward to a new dance floor, posh VIP area and a terrace housing a Magnum Pleasure bar, where they can customise their ice cream with various toppings (while cooling down in the heat).

Other highlights at Amber Lounge include live music gigs and a fashion show, where F1 drivers and models will hit the runway in threads from designers such as Malaysian-Indonesia duo Sean & Sheila. You might even find yourself partying with celebrities; past global editions of the event have drawn superstars such as Jason Derulo and David Beckham.
