Bell & Ross at the Singapore Grand Prix 2016

It was F1 fever all around last month and Bell & Ross was clearly feeling it. Together with its official partner Renault Sport Formula One Team, the French luxury timepiece brand hosted two pre-race events to celebrate the world’s only night race, giving fans and racing aficionados a chance to get up close and personal with the team’s latest racing driver, Jolyon Palmer.

Jolyon Palmer

Palmer might only be on his first season as a Formula One main race driver, but he’s already amassed a legion of fans with his boyish good looks and promising talent. If you find his last name familiar in the racing arena, it’s because his father, Jonathan Palmer, was also a Formula One driver.

The meet-and-greet session saw his fans put his reflexes, hand-eye coordination and concentration to the test with the Batak challenge as he competed with six other finalists. The last man standing went home with the grand prize of a Bell & Ross timepiece — we couldn’t be more envious.

As dusk descended, Bell & Ross CEO Carlos A. Rosillo, welcomed VIPs from retailer Watches of Switzerland. It was a social affair, as they met and mingled with personalities the likes of Cyril Abiteboul, Managing Director of the Renault Sport Formula One Team; as well as Adam Ryan and Mark Goldstone of Athletic Propulsion Labs (APL), the official shoe sponsor for the Renault team. With LA-based DJ Eve Speciall at the deck, guests partied the night away with her unique brand of music.
