The worlds of golf and automobiles collided on 13 October 2017 at the Sentosa Golf Club for the Singapore leg of the Audi quattro Cup 2017. The skies were clear, the weather was perfect, and the participants – all amateurs, mind you – teed off in style for a chance to fly the Singapore flag at the Audi quattro Cup 2017 World Finals in Los Cabos, Mexico.

That prestigious distinction was awarded to two ladies, Nina Um and Shirley Lee, who will see themselves pit against teams (and Audi enthusiasts) from over 47 countries during the first week of December.

Following the intense 18-hole competition at the newly refurbished Serapong course in Sentosa, participants then wined and dined at the dinner reception, where they could also take a shot at the ‘Longest Drive’ challenge.

“I’m thrilled to have won the opportunity to represent Singapore in Mexico. Nina and I will definitely do our best to do Singapore proud,” said Shirley Lee.

The finals that take place in less than two months will be held at the Quivira Golf Club, the iconic course that was designed by the legendary golfer Jack Nicklaus. Players from all 47 countries will be hosted and pampered at the Pueblo Bonito Pacifica Golf & Spa Resort.

Here are the highlights from the tournament and the dinner reception.
