Eating is about pleasure, and it brings us no greater thrill than to bring forth a round up of the most exciting restaurants to have opened (or will open) in the coming weeks.

Two of the restaurants in our selection are scoops we uncovered; chef Christophe Lerouy who helmed Alma by Juan Amador to its Michelin star as well as chef Sun Kim behind one-starred Meta (who was also the face of our Ermenegildo Zegna campaign) will be opening restaurants in shophouses sometime this month named Lerouy and Kimme respectively.

Other Michelin-starred names set to make waves this month is Spanish Chef Fernando Arellano who hails from two-Michelin-starred Zaranda all the way from the Spanish Balearic Islands. He will be taking over Esquina from chef Carlos Montobbio for dinner on 8 and 9 November. Expect a menu that showcases Spanish-Mediterranean flavours like the the Lamb “Mandala” with Arabic sweet spices and aubergine.

Elsewhere on the island, Pince and Pints – the trendy spot on Duxton Road to hit up for a good lobster roll – has set up shop in Katong, joining the slew of casual spots. And of course, the enduring popularity of Japanese cuisine here means that will always be at least one in our monthly round up, though in this case, there’s three of varying influences.

Those with a knack for food events though can check out the AccorHotels Singapore Food & Wine Festival which will end with the incredible Super Sunday Brunch on 12 November at Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa.

If eating is about pleasure, November is about to get indulgent. Here are 10 new restaurants in Singapore to check out this month.
