SPRMRKT has readied a number of savoury and sweet dishes for Christmas takeaway — ideal for a dinner ranging from eight to 10 people. Most of the dishes are based on the eatery’s popular picks, including their behemoth slab of slow-roasted, pasture-fed Australian rib-eye beef, served on a bed of vegetables, with a choice of black pepper or bérnaise sauce. The roast beef is priced at S$150+ for 2kg, and orders must be placed three working days in advance, by 22nd December, 5pm.

Joël Robouchon’s dessert carts are a thing of legend, and this Christmas, you can bring a massive slice of that home with their La Bûche de Noël log cake. The luxurious chocolate cake is stuffed with almonds, acai jelly and Piedmont hazlenut praline, handmade by chief pastry chef Antonio Benites. It is priced at S$120+, and available for pre-order between 7 to 21 December.

The Carvery is renowned for its meat buffet, so you can expect a particularly carnivorous selection from the restaurant this Christmas. They have a number of Spanish-inspired roasted meats for takeaway this year, including stuffed Iberico pork belly and a roast turkey, but its highlight is the succulent spit-roasted chicken with orange and rosemary. Perfectly prepared and still juicy after brining for 24 hours, the chicken is herbaceous and citrusy with a hint of smoke from spit roasting. It is priced at S$38+, or S$68 with a bottle of wine, available from 4 December 2017 to 1 January 2018 with advance orders of three working days.

Colony Bakery at Ritz Carlton Singapore has conceptualised five stunning log cakes for the Yuletide season, with each representing one of the five key taste categories. There’s a cake for any taste preference, going from rose and lychee, green tea, sea salt caramel, to grapefruit, as well as mango and passionfruit.
