If you lost track of time, we’re here to remind you that Father’s Day 2020 is just around the corner. That’s 21 June, if you didn’t already know.
As with precautions taken by the government due to the pandemic, dining out isn’t allowed just yet, which means Father’s Day this year will be a little different from previous years. Lucky for us, our favourite restaurants have put together special menus for this celebratory season, dishing out delectable bites to show our dads how much we care.
Here, we’ve put together a list of Father’s Day 2020 menus for your perusal: from hearty breakfast choices to luxurious course menus, there’s bound to be something here for the steadfast hero at home.
Your dad is definitely in for a lavish treat with the menu at Tablescape. The deluxe eight-course menu comes with a hearty basket of freshly-baked bread, followed by four starters, including the Pan Seared Duck Foie Gras and the cold Lobster Salad, Catalan Style.
Continue your gastronomic journey with the main courses: from the exquisite Braised Wagyu Beef Cheek, Truffle Mash Potato to the delicate Seabass Gratin with Aromatic Bread, Purple Mash Potato and Lemon Sauce. Then, dig into the Traditional Beef Lasagne, Executive Chef Armando’s own father’s personal favourite pasta dish. A moist Sacher-Torte Cake then awaits to end of the perfect meal.
This luxurious set is available from 19 to 21 June for lunch and dinner. Orders need to be made one day in advance, and delivery is free for orders of two sets and above.
Delight your dad and your family with these mouthwatering treats from Lumo. Start your meal with the tangy hot-sauce covered Chicken Drumlettes or the Shoestring Fries, a crowd-favourite that’s paired with mentaiko mayonnaise and bonito flakes.
If dad’s a die-hard meat-lover, satiate his palate with the succulent Sakura Pork Chop dressed with whisky raisin jus or the New Zealand Angus Ribeye a stunning slab of meat that’s been grilled to perfection over wood-fire. Burnt cheesecakes and apple pies are also available as desserts.
Make sure to complete your meal with some tipples: From 15 to 21 June, every order of S$180 and above placed directly with Lumo will receive a complimentary bottle of Douglass Hill Merlot. Sweet tooths can grab one of Lumo’s Breakfast-inspired cocktails: Stevie J is a twist on the classic Manhattan, while the Palm Tree Tonic is a coconut and coffee-driven gin and tonic.

Start Father’s Day right with SPRMRKT’s hearty breakfast in bedEach of the naturally-fermented sourdough bagels are made to perfection: with a slight chew and a delightful mild tang within a crusty exterior.
Choose between four different bagel options: the Ultimate Breakfast Bagel is a hearty mix of scrambled eggs, avocado, cream cheese, shaved onions, capers and a choice of smoked salmon or beef pastrami, while the Steak and Cheese Bagel is a meat-lovers favourite. The other two options include the Buttermilk Fried Chicken Bagel and the vegetarian Korean BBQ Mushroom Bagel, complete with barbecued oyster mushroom, shredded carrots and cucumbers and an over-easy egg.
The Epic Breakfast set includes all four options and four fresh fruit sodas, while the Hearty Father’s Day set includes two bagels and two fresh fruit sodas. Add S$5 to spike your sodas with rum, gin or vodka. These all-day bagels are available from 15 to 21 June 2020 for islandwide delivery with a flat fee of S$10.
If you want to surprise your dad with a meal, why not make it a little more special by whipping up a feast of your own? The chefs at Fairmont Singapore and Swissotel the Stamford have come up with three-course meal kits that are made with ingredients and dishes specially tailored to win Dad’s approval. Each kit is good for four diners and comes with three sides and DIY oatmeal pizza cookies as well.
The regular Recipe Kit will make a refreshing Pomodori e Burrata salad, a main of either A4 Miyazaki Wagyu, Norwegian Salmon or Chicken Breast and a decadent chocolate pizza. As for the Deluxe Recipe Kit, one will be able to cook up a storm with dishes like the Tiger Prawn Salad, the Fillet Steak Oscar with crab fritter and as well as the ‘Cigar’ Grand Espresso Swiss Roll.
They are now taking preorders for these kits, and they will be available for collection or delivery from 8 to 21 June.
From 1 to 30 June 2020, Si Chuan Dou Hua Restaurant at PARKROYAL on Beach Road is offering two special set menus thoughtfully created by Executive Chef Zeng Feng for the Chinese cuisine-loving dad.
The ‘Fit for a King’ Eight-Course Set Menu (served per pax) comes with nourishing dishes like the Sichuan Three Delicacies, Ginseng Wolfberry Soup, Steamed Silver Cod with Golden Mushrooms and Black Fungus, Braised 8-Head Abalone with Mushroom and Vegetables, and Bird’s Nest in Stewed Pear among others.
‘The Family Fortune’ Six-Course Set Menu for four includes delectable treats like the Deep-fried Silver Cod with Chilli Bean Sauce, Braised Spare Ribs with Chinese Black Vinegar, Sautéed Prawns with Kai Lan in XO Sauce and the Homemade Fine Bean Curd with Wolfberries.
With every order of either set menu, customers will also receive six complimentary pieces of homemade longevity buns and a gift pack of ‘organic handmade longevity noodles’ shaped in the words ‘福’ (fortune) or ‘喜’ (happiness), while stocks last.
This celebratory season, Italian eatery and bar Amò by Michelin starred restaurateur-chef Beppe De Vito is working with artisanal barbershop We Need A Hero to present a scrumptious meal with three family bundles.
Each bundle comes with a grooming voucher worth S$60 from We Need A Hero to treat dads to a luxurious hair cut experience. The family bundles are fit for four, six or eight diners, complete with mouthwatering servings of antipasti, pasta, pizza, mains and desserts. If you fancy a tipple or two, just add S$50+ for a bottle of Italian sparkling, white or red wine.
The Father’s Day set menus are available for islandwide delivery from 14 to 28 June and pre-orders must be made 24 hours in advance. Delivery is free of charge.
From 13 to 14 June and 20 to 21 June 2020, Goodwood Park Hotel will be presenting an enticing ensemble of dining experiences for all beloved dads. Treats from Coffee Lounge, Gordon Grill, Min Jiang at Goodwood Park Hotel and Min Jiang at Dempsey will be made available for celebratory feasts all day.
From the three-course meal at Gordon Grill to the light-weight Taiwan Porridge Set Menu at Coffee Lounge and the six-course set menu at Min Jiang, diners will be spoilt for choice when they choose to dine from Goodwood Park Hotel.

Celebrate fathers and their steadfast love this June with a five-course set menu from Yàn, available for takeaway and island-wide delivery from 1 to 30 June 2020. As a special treat, diners will also receive a complimentary mini Preserved Vegetables with Heura Chicken Rice Dumpling for each person.
The five-course meal first begins with Yàn’s succulent Roast Duck, followed by the nourishing Braised Seafood Broth with Conpoy and Fish Maw. Continue feasting with the Steamed Sea Perch Fillet with Golden Mushroom, Spring Onions, Garlic and Seasonal Vegetables, a healthy plate complete with tons of nutrients needed for a quick boost of health. After indulging in the Seafood Soup Noodles with Prawns, dig into the Chilled Double-boiled Hashima with Red Dates and Lotus Seeds for a sweet conclusion to the meal.

From 13 to 21 June 2020, Blue Jasmine is extending a generous Father’s Day set meal fit for a king.
Whet your appetite with the Thai Rice Spring Rolls with Prawns served with a housemade seafood dip as well as fluffy Cha Om Fried Egg with acacia leaves, served alongside Blue Jasmine’s very own housemade Nam Prik Kapi. Next, feast on the scrumptious Half Roast Esarn Chicken and the Thai Yellow Curry Shrimps that’s topped with freshly sliced betel leaves. The set also includes Stir-Fried Vegetables and Blue Jasmine Rice.
For dessert, indulge in the brand new Thai Tako Dessert, more commonly known as Khanom Tako, a pudding made with pandan, water chestnut and coconut. Blue Jasmine’s version, however, adds the gently sweet pumpkin for an interesting twist.
As a Father’s Day treat, Blue Jasmine will be gifting all dads with a choice of Tiger Crystal or Heineken Zero with every order. This hearty set is good for four and is available for both takeaway and delivery islandwide. There is a flat fee of S$12 for islandwide delivery.
For the dad that’s always down for a good barbeque, you might want to check out the DIY Barbecue Set for 2 from The Butcher’s Wife. This time, you’ll be the one standing by the grill as you whip up a feast for him.
Each set comes with four types of meat to barbecue at home, complete with garniture and sauces. This includes the Lamb Sausage, the Wagyu Picanha, the Marinated Boneless Chicken Thigh and the Pre-cooked Octopus Tentacle. Feel free to mix and match the meats to your liking, but take note that only a maximum of two servings will be provided for the Wagyu Picanha option.
As for the sides, dig into the refreshing Green Papaya Salsa and Kimchi Mayo, the decadent Mixed Sweet Potato Gratin and the Mixed Vegetables for a hearty meal unlike any other. We recommend rounding the meal up with a bottle of natural wine.
