It’s time to bring out the advent calendars: Christmas is officially less than a month away.

This year, Christmas is a little different. Apart from a five-person restriction at restaurant tables, only five guests are able to visit your household at any given day.

Yet, the restrictions might not necessarily be a bad thing. After all, this means you can plan to meet your friends and family during multiple occasions, and try different dishes too.

The festive menus this year come in a whole range: from set menus to oriental twists and hearty buffets, one will definitely be spoilt for choice. The festive takeaways, on the other hand, come with indulgent cuts of classic turkeys and hams that are bound to keep you stuffed even after a night of revelry at home.

Here, read on for our full list of festive menus and takeaways you can feast on this Christmas 2020.

Oxwell & Clan

Oxwell & Co may have shut its doors this summer, but it’s making a comeback with the launch of Oxwell & Clan, a six-week Christmas pop-up on the ground floor of Straits Clan’s Clan Cafe. Feast on dishes like the juicy Turkey Roulade, complete with celery, chestnuts, mushrooms and cranberry sauce or the Crackled Roast Pork Belly, a crispy number that’s made even better with mustard sauce. All the mains will be served with roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding and traditional gravy. Make sure to grab a serving of the Spiced Pear Spritz to wash it all down with: the invigorating vodka, baked apple & pear, vanilla, and prosecco makes for the perfect tipple to complete the merry-making with.

If you’d like to spend time at home instead, Oxwell & Clan is able to deliver festive boxes to your doors through Boxwell & Co. All you have to do is call ahead to order. This year, they’ve partnered with Food Bank SG to share some of Christmas spirit: for every meal bought (both at the pop-up and through delivery), another meal will be going to a person in need in the community.
