Sommer’s Beef Wellington made its debut during Circuit Breaker last year and this Phase 2 (Heightened Alert) has given the restaurant a chance to bring it back to diners at home, amidst a backdrop of other decadent dishes. The Beef Wellington is only up for grabs as part of Sommer’s set menu for two or four diners, and we recommend rounding up the meal with a bottle or two of France and Italy’s finest wines for an indulgent dinner at home.
Guests who place their orders now to 13 June 2021 via the Tabletop app will receive 5 percent off and free delivery. Sommer’s menu is available for islandwide delivery from Tuesdays to Sundays.
If you’re missing some Italian fare at home, don’t fret. Buono Terra’s very own takeaway and delivery menu will get you sorted. Those who like to choose their own dishes can select from a wide array of a la carte options, including the Oven-baked Scampi with White and Black Sesame, the Beef Agnolotti with Black Truffle and the restaurant’s signature Herb-crusted Lamb Loin with eggplant and caponata. We’re not one for choosing, so we’d rather leave the planning to Chef Denis. The five-course tasting menu comes at a neat S$178+, and highlights the best seasonal ingredients of the week. Diners can also choose to upgrade their dining experience with wine, champagne or whisky hand-picked by Buona Terra’s cellar concierge.
Delivery is free for orders S$300 and above, and island-wide delivery is available at a $12 fee with a minimum order of $50+. Drive-through takeaway is also available.
Family meals have never been simpler with Head Chef Andrea De Paola and his team at Zafferano. Here, dig into a slew of Italian classics like the one-kilogram, charcoal-grilled Black Angus Beef Fiorentina, a Tuscan delight made to be the centrepiece at any dining table. Diners can also look forward to favourites such as the Linguine Confit Canadian Lobster, and those who miss the experience of dining in can opt for the decadent four-course degustation menu.
Delivery charges are calculated based on distance. Free islandwide delivery to one location is available for orders S$150 and above. Self-collection is also available at the drop-off point at Ocean Financial Centre or at the restaurant directly.
It’s safe to say that Euphoria has been making waves in Singapore’s gastronomy scene since its opening in November 2020. Despite its young age, the restaurant, under the helm of chef-owner Jason Tan, has already secured a position (number 41, to be exact) on Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants ranking this year. For now, the restaurant will only be dishing the airy Mochishire Grand for diners at home. The Mochishire is born out of the ‘Pão de Queijo’ Brazilian mochi bread and Yorkshire pudding, and this order comes with 12 Mochishire and three of the restaurant’s in-house Gastro-Botanica sauces, Our favourite sauce? The beautifully rich Unstoppable mushroom, crafted with a button mushroom pate, caramelized onion purée and Paris butter mushroom purée.
Self-collection is available.
We might not be able to go through Preludio’s latest iteration of their menu (Chapter 3: Two Roads) at the restaurant itself, but who’s to say we can’t feast at home? On the weekends, The Preludio Journey, a weekly, curated dinner menu finds itself making rounds across the island, while we trudge through the rest of the week with a selection of their Buns: Lobster, Wagyu and Pluma Iberico.
Preludio is open for delivery or takeaway from Tuesdays to Sundays, from 12pm to 8pm. Pickups are free while island-wide delivery is available from $10. Orders above S$200 can enjoy free delivery.
Pollen is usually where we’ll find ourselves dining at after a long walk in the Gardens, but now with restrictions in place, those plans have to be on hold for a while. Our favourite item on the menu? The impressive Duck neck and foie gras cassoulet, a jaw-dropping main that still leaves an impression in our memories till today. Not sure what we’re talking about? Read our review here.
Islandwide delivery and self-collection is available from 1130 am to 830 pm.
Chinese cuisine often resonates with us as comfort food, built around hearty, warm sharing plates around the dinner table. Those looking for an elevated alternative should take a look at Yì By Jereme Leung, who will be bringing the fine art of Chinese dining to your home during this trying period. This includes a menu of a la carte favourites like the Taiwanese style beef brisket and tendon noodles in soup, as well as fuss-free set meals for two, four and six diners.
Self-collection and deliveries are available between 11:30 am to 2 pm and 6 pm to 9 pm daily.
