Got a whisky lover in your midst? Royal Salute has just released an all-new addition to its signature 21-Year-Old range with The Malts Blend, the first-ever blended malt from the ‘King of Whisky’. The golden liquid is crafted with more than 21 precious single malts that have been aged for a minimum of 21 years from the five whisky regions of Scotland. The result? A delightfully indulgent and profound Scotch that’s accompanied by notes of orchard fruits and whispers of spice. If you need another reason to be convinced, The Malts Blend was just awarded Double Gold in the 2020 International Spirits Challenge.
These made-to-order, slow-cooked bottles of onion jam from The Cat’s Whiskers are fit for just about any meal — use them for a serving of onion galette, as an onion spread, as a braising sauce — the possibilities are endless. Each batch is caramelised with fine port, premium red wine and deliciously rich butter to enhance the flavours of the ingredients. Rather than just gifting a bottle, send them a box instead — this one contains: a jar of onion jam, a pack of crackers and a wodge of Stilton. Island-wide delivery is available at a flat fee of S$8.

Singapore’s favourite neighbourhood bakery is churning out gourmet gifts this festive period, and the Christmas Hamper might just be the artisanal treat box of our dreams. The stocking-shaped box is stuffed with the diner’s sourdough loaf, chocolate hazelnut loaf cake, chewing gum handwash, duck foie gras from Maison Carrère, La Trinquelinette jam, Bordier butter and Champagne Fleury from Drunken Farmer — basically everything you need to keep you going for the holiday season.
Restaurant JAG, Singapore’s only French omakase establishment, has unveiled a range of seasonal items that’ll make for the perfect stocking stuffers. The exclusive range of Huilerie Beaujolaise fruit vinegar, for instance, has been produced based on the award-winning French brand’s proprietary recipes, and are used by Chef Jeremy in his kitchen. There are six flavours of the boutique fruit vinegar, each serving as the perfect natural dressing for a wide selection of raw vegetables, oysters, cold or hot dishes and even desserts. Other items on the gifting front include a selection of homemade heirloom jams and hand-crafted Savoie-Herb spirits.
