With safe-distancing measures in place, it seems like National Day this year will be slightly different.
If you haven’t realised already, this means avoiding the crowded areas like Helix Bridge and the Marina Barrage to catch a glimpse of the fireworks after dark.
Yet, with a pandemic going on, where are the fireworks-starved amongst us to go then? We’ve rounded up some of the best bars and restaurants in town so you still get front row seats to the pyrotechnics while wining and dining in style.
Spend the evening at Skai, amidst the splendid view of the city skyline as firework displays are set off in 10 different locations. Skai’s four-course Dinner Set Menu is a beautiful way to enjoy the evening: begin with a delightful Hamachi Sashimi, complete with tomato, soba noodles and osetra caviar, while main choices like the 170-gram strip loin accompanied by asparagus and black truffle and the Alaskan Black Cod take centre stage. This menu will be available from 5 pm to 10.30 pm on 9 August.
