In the last five years, Bangkok has managed to reinvent itself from street food haven to culinary capital, and close at the heels of its food-fuelled boom is the rise of its cocktail scene. As gastrotourists began arriving in hordes, their polished tastebuds had to be catered to, along with their insatiable thirst. Bangkok is rife with top-tier cocktail bars for that very reason, with some choice destinations parked literally at the top of the city’s skyline. These rooftop bars in Bangkok marry quality cocktails with equally stunning views, and here, we’ve rounded up the best of the lot. Check them out the next time you visit.

As you wait for your drink, relish in the twinkling of the city’s skyline framed by the bar’s Art Nouveau aesthetics.
