Luxury has never been a word that one would typically associate with a KTV bar. That is, until Ziggy’s arrived on Robertson Walk.
At first glance, the establishment doesn’t announce that its a karaoke venue. The dimly lit bar at the entrance doubles as a reception area, so you can have one of its barrel-aged cocktails while you wait to check into your private room.
A standard room at Ziggy’s can accommodate 20 people. There are also two VIP spaces that can be combined to fit 40.

The whole space is clad in a cool-toned palette of gold, silver, teal and green — colours purportedly inspired by David Bowie’s Ziggy Stardust era. At the end of the hallway, a wall-to-wall fridge stands, boasting a wide selection of wines and champagnes.
Don’t expect low-end bottlings here. Instead, you have Dom Pérignon 2006 lined up and ready for order. The bar programme also has a lengthy selection of sakes, ranging from popular labels to expressions from boutique breweries.

Each room is a polished microverse, flanked by velvet couches and gold end tables. All come fitted with a private refreshments fridge that offers premium bites, including chocolate made by local small-batch chocolatiers, Demochoco.

Aside from the jaw-dropping interior, every room comes with a costume closet that adds a lot more fun to the occasion, especially if you’re hosting a corporate event there and trying to loosen the crowd up. There’s even a Ziggy’s-brand money gun.
There’s nothing dodgy about this karaoke spot at all. The next time you’re planning a KTV session, treat yourself and book a room at Ziggy’s. Your friends will love you for it.
