The Balvenie prides itself on being the world’s most handcrafted single malt whisky — a fact that many of its competitors can no longer claim in a Scotch landscape that is increasingly industrialised. Almost every aspect that creates a bottle of The Balvenie whisky is a result of human touch, highlighting the distillery’s dedication to tradition and craft before all else. This ethos has driven The Balvenie to express its commitment to artists that work with their hands beyond the world of whisky, culminating in their latest initiative, The Balvenie House of Craft.

House of Craft is a pop-up multi-concept space that visually fosters the relationship between The Balvenie and craft. Held from now until 30 September, the physical space will play host to a variety of events, from supper clubs to guest bartender shifts. It is a fantastic way to reconnect with working with your hands in our overtly digital age, to learn a new skill, and of course, to enjoy fine whisky while you are at it.
