How to adopt the Pantone 2021 colours for your home
If you haven’t already heard, Pantone has released not one, but two colours of the year to ring in 2021.
Introducing Ultimate Gray and Illuminating, a dependable shade of grey matched with a cheerful, sparkling yellow that “encapsulates deeper feelings of thoughtfulness with the promise of something sunny and friendly.”
According to the Pantone website, the colours “highlight how different elements come together to support one another….practical and rock-solid but at the same time warming and optimistic, the union of Pantone 17-5104 Ultimate Gray + Pantone 13-0647 Illuminating is one of strength and positivity.” Well. We couldn’t have said it better ourselves.
After the gloom that was 2020, there’s no better time than the present to incorporate these two shades into your life. Since most of us are still working from home and will probably continue to do so for the next year or so, we reckon bringing the Pantone 2021 colours into your home for maximum positive vibes.
Don’t worry, we’re not recommending you to paint your entire room in either of these colours (you could, but that might be too big a project to take on for most). What you can do, for starters, is to grab decor and accent items — think sheets, vases and more.
