Started in 2011 by Singaporean designer Julian Koh, local furniture store Commune has established itself successfully in the region. The brand boasts a few boutiques in the Lion City, offering modern furniture with effortless form and intelligent craftsmanship. Its flagship store in Millenia Walk boasts a wide product range — from sofas to dining tables and workspace furniture, as well as space fillers. Additionally, the brand is huge on sustainability, using eco-conscious wood and timber that has been imported from sustainable sources in USA, Europe, and Southeast Asia.


If you’re a fan of the classic Nordic aesthetic, check out BoConcept, Denmark’s biggest furniture store. Its store in Paragon is a treasure trove of modern furniture and sleek home accessories, making the iconic Danish brand’s designs accessible to Singapore home owners. Furniture retailer P5 offers progressive European furniture designers whose work are found in the finest hotels, resorts and homes around the world.
