The Cheat Sheet: Fairytale destinations, live music venues, and candy-coloured bags

From the ongoing Baselworld watch and jewellery show in Switzerland, to Art Basel Hong Kong, there’s so much happening around the world this weekend. Closer to home, there’s i Light Marina Bay, which draws to a close on Sunday, and tomorrow’s OSIM Sundown Marathon.

Saturday evening — specifically from 8.30pm to 9.30pm — also marks Earth Hour, a global initiative that advocates saving the environment. In conjunction with this, the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) has organised a series of events ranging from a night festival to music performances and games.

If you’re more inclined towards staying indoors this weekend, we’ve got some ideas in this week’s edition of The Cheat Sheet. Swing by a live music venue for a memorable dining experience, stock up on brightly coloured bags for springtime, and check out our interview with New York-based bartender Naren Young. If you’re thinking of taking a vacation soon, we’ve rounded up several gorgeous European destinations reminiscent of Beauty and the Beast.
