It is always a massive occasion in Singapore when the year’s edition of the Michelin Guide is announced, and the latest ceremony was no exception. It was the highlight of this Wednesday in local news when 39 restaurants received their stars, although none secured three, despite the closure of the only local restaurant that has the highest accolade — Joël Roubouchon.
