On the 10th of August, Christian Dada, a Japanese cult-label loved and coveted by many, opened its flagship store in Singapore. They celebrated with a private party, where guests could browse their clothes over a glass of bubbly. The new store on Orchard Road also introduced their latest collection to their guests with an exclusive runway show, walking around a rope installation by Hajime Kinoko (@Hajimekinoko).
Packed with stylish guests, we had no trouble coming up with the ten best-dressed for the event.
Nicole Wong (@ncwong), in a full black ensemble here with a vintage leather jacket, Thrasher t-shirt, Cameo The Label A-symmetrical shorts, simple black Alexander Wang bag, and gold studded Senso shoes.
If you’re not feeling that full black, go the opposite. Nellie Lim (@nellielim) shows us that you can rock the fierce look with a white Asilio leotard, laser cut Asilio pants, Bionda Castana criss cross pumps, paired with a Balenciaga purse.
Min G. (@girlwhocriedwolf) wears a super chic and minimalistic outfit with Stuart Weitzman sandals paired with a Cameo the Label dress, and topped off with a simple Asos clutch.
Featured here is Fumiko Takahama, an architect and the interior designer for the Christian Dada shop. She’s rocking a Christian Dada choker with a Junya Wantanabe dress.
Next is the amazing creative mind behind Christian Dada, Masanori Morikawa. We are head over heels for his effortless and confident look.
Jozette (@lopberry) rocks a camouflage jacket by Christian Dada, paired with a Public School tee and Saint Laurent booties.
Yvette shows us how to look chic with this affordable ensemble! She’s in a white eyelet-embellished Eightslate top, ripped Topshop jeans, and Charles & Keith shoes. (@vettyking)
Look ultra fierce with Sonia Chew (@soniachew) in a simple black turtleneck dress, accessorised with Stuart Weitzman knee high boots, a Chanel tote, and Dior shades.
Tabitha (@tabithanauser) looks cool and confident in this Sam MC printed dress and a red wool Christian Dada coat.
Look clean and classy with Angie Chen (@angiefeimao) in a white Night and Day shirt paired with black Antonio Berardi shorts, red Bulgari bag, strappy Rupert Sanderson shoes, and topped off with a super cute Maison Margiela airplane ring.
