Southeast Asia’s largest night relay race, The ASICS Relay will return to Singapore on 26 October after making pitstops in four cities around our region. Breaking the mould of a traditional marathon, the ASICS Relay 2019 sets itself up to be a part for all fitness-loving, running fanatics around the island.

Featuring two race categories, a full 42-kilometre marathon and a 21-kilometre half marathon, this is a run you don’t embark on alone. The relay factor comes in as registrants must be in teams of four or two, so apart from the team spirit, it’s far more fun to have your suffering shared as you embark on the long haul journey to the finish line.

The ASICS Relay will take place around the Bayfront Event Square and encompasses more than just sweaty hard work. There will be exciting fringe activities including a 180-degree photo booth, face painting, and plenty of shopping opportunities for the latest ASICS merchandise.

Adding to the festive atmosphere are also the live performances from South Korean DJs 2HEARTS, as well as exciting food vendors, and sponsors such as Air Asia, Pocari, CITIZEN, and Gong Cha who will be keeping runners pumped and engaged through the night.

Those who take marathons seriously can anticipate prizes at the ASICS Relay 2019, with the first place for the full marathon winning S$1,000 and four pairs of ASICS shoes. For every category, the top three teams by time will walk away with prize money, ASICS shoes, or both, so that is added incentive to get your race game on. Interested participants can sign up here.
