HSBC Jade unveils a new banking and lifestyle hub at Jewel Changi Airport

Premium banking service HSBC Jade recently launched its second Jade Centre in the now-iconic Jewel Changi Airport, bringing its range of services to another cosmopolitan spot for its esteemed clients.

Besides providing personalised investment solutions and advisory services, HSBC Jade offers global concierge service for its exclusive clients. Through its partnership with concierge provider Ten Lifestyle Group, HSBC Jade has exclusive experiences and lifestyle benefits lined up for its clients.

More than just providing services, Jade Relationship Managers and a dedicated concierge team are ready to share a wealth of knowledge on how to live well in both financial and lifestyle aspects. HSBC Jade Clients are privy to a range of benefits, such as skipping waiting lists at the most exclusive restaurants to having an entire trip tailor-made and planned out.

At the Jade Centre, HSBC Jade clients in Singapore and from around the world are provided easy access to wealth experts while getting the same diligent attention on their lifestyle needs.

Mr Anurag Mathur, HSBC’s Head of Retail Banking and Wealth Management, said: “While they may be based here, many of our customers have studied or worked overseas, and have regional business interests. They tend to look beyond Singapore for investment opportunities and lifestyle experiences.”

“We expect the Jade Centre will be well-received given its strategic location within Jewel at the Changi Airport, which is fast emerging as the lifestyle hub for Singaporeans living in the East and international travellers.”

During the grand opening, HSBC Jade shared a taste of its breadth of concierge offerings against the stunning backdrop of the HSBC Rain Vortex. Guests were invited to experience the ‘Jewel of Wealth’, a tailored curation of wealth services and lifestyle experiences — an astute reflection of its clients as well-rounded connoisseurs.

At the event, guests had the opportunity to make connections with the wealth and lifestyle partners behind some of the evening’s activities. Serving as walking ‘human books’, guests can approach them to start conversations or ask questions.

On the floor, Head of HSBC’s Wealth Sales, Horace Zeng, shared advice on investment and legacy planning while Ten Lifestyle Group’s COO Bryn Dyer shared more about HSBC Jade’s concierge service. The duo was also joined by other lifestyle partners who are ready to share meaningful experiences — from wine expertise to the art of auction houses — with HSBC Jade clients.

Guests were treated to bespoke experiences curated by HSBC’s lifestyle partners. Over at the Scent Bar by luxury wellness brand Thann, guests customised their own fragrances with various aromatic oils. Monogram Tea, an artisanal label by local-based Gryphon Tea Company, offered a unique tea layering experience. Guests were invited to craft their tea ensembles from a selection of premium leaves and florals; their blends kept in elegant glass jars. Live illustrator Autumn Ying was also there to create watercolour paintings of the HSBC Rain Vortex light show as mementoes.

HSBC’s lifestyle partners also had a hand with gastronomic delights during the event. Throughout the evening, guests enjoyed Grand Cru champagnes and wines provided by wine retailer Berry Bros & Rudd. Accompanying these were indulgent bites catered by Mandarin Oriental, such as slow-braised Wagyu short ribs served with roasted potatoes and jus as well as chicken Galantine stuffed with roasted vegetables and dressed in black truffle sauce. Guests were also offered exclusive desserts specially crafted for HSBC Jade, such as a matcha ‘Jade’ marble cake and ‘Jade stone’ praline.

Between glasses of tipple and bites, guests were entertained by a contemporary dance inspired by the Rain Vortex and HSBC’s new sound identity. The rousing performance also found accompaniment with video mapping technology and effects, leaving behind a breathtaking visual worth remembering.

As the event drew to a close, guests were left to enjoy an unobstructed view of the HSBC Rain Vortex’s dazzling light show. Truly a worthy insider experience for HSBC Jade’s treasured clients.
