Hans Christian Andersen once said that “life itself is the most wonderful fairy tale”, but being a multi-tasking woman in the 21st-century means even that is a luxury sometimes. As a little reminder of the unadulterated innocence and empowering confidence that we grew up with, PANDORA’s two new collections this autumn take us through the maze of time to bring us back to the splendour of the Renaissance with Regal Tales and Grains of Life.

Regal Tales

Made for a modern-day princess, the Regal Tales collection fuses the magic of fairy tales and Renaissance splendour.

Made for the modern-day princess in mind, Regal Tales mirrors the magnificence of the era with an extravagant amalgamation of intricate metalwork, indulgent stones, and new craftsmanship techniques. Hallmarked as a momentous time when women started to realise their power, the Renaissance has long been closely linked to female empowerment, with jewellery acting as a vital part of self expression.

The Enchanted Crown rings.

The regality is enhanced with a royal medley of colours, textures, and materials. Highlights of the collection include the Alluring Hearts and Enchanted Crown rings, two dramatically embellished pieces in silver (S$129) and PANDORA Rose (S$159) that’ll take center stage amongst your ring stacks. For a little enchantment on your wrists, the iridescent white glass charm (with an intricate PANDORA Rose motif, no less) pairs perfectly with the PANDORA Rose Padlock Bracelet, which comes with a heraldic padlock that shines with pink and purple stones.

The Regal Love Key Dangle and Locket of Dazzle necklace.

The opulence continues with more exuberant options like the Locket of Dazzle Necklace (S$249), which sees a pretty floral and vine motif immortalised by pink and purple cubic zirconia within the see-through engraved pendant. The Regal Love Key Dangle (S$99) is yet another delicately engraved collectible for your bracelet, and opens up just as a real locket would. Other key motifs in the Regal Tales collection — such as keys, tiaras and love potions (brought to life by pink mist crystal) — add to the allure and fascination of the modern day fairy tale.

Grains of Life

pandora autumn 2018
Grains of Life takes inspiration from idyllic fields of wheat in the countryside.

The idea of abundance continues beyond the high-columned castle grounds, where fields of wheat grow bountifully as a symbol of prosperity. Intricate patterns, keys and hidden treasures make way for a more subtle expression of nature, though no less captivating. The idea of life and rebirth in nature is also portrayed elegantly via grain-embellished pieces and glittering sheaves of wheat, each crafted in either sterling silver or PANDORA Shine 18k gold-plated sterling silver.

The limited edition pieces in the Grains of Life collection.

Limited edition favourites in this series include the Floating Grains Bangle (S$349) and Circle of Seeds Necklace (S$479), both of which feature chained seeds that are accentuated by clear cubic zirconia for that extra pizzazz. The faithful rendition of nature is also found on other accessories such as rings, earrings and safety chains, occasionally accompanied by an adorable scarecrow.

The Regal Tales and Grains of Life jewellery collections are available in all PANDORA stores islandwide, as well as at PANDORA’s online store at sg.pandora.net.
