We’ve all been working remotely for a few months now and the need to be able to block out noise for long hours at a stretch is more pertinent now than ever.

For that, Microsoft has launched two cool new audio gizmos that tout comfort and quality: The Surface Earbuds and Surface Headphones 2. Both are beautifully designed, sporting sleek exteriors to match an unparalleled audio experience.

Surface Headphones 2
It’s no secret that bigger is better, especially when it comes to your need for concentration. The Surface Headphones 2 is an ergonomic bluetooth-connected solution that covers your ears with soft, breathable pads that are lightweight to boot. In fact, the entire gadget weighs 290 grams — a neat package especially since it offers up to 13 adjustable levels of Active Noise Cancellation thanks to the on-ear dials.

If you need to get on calls for work, there’s no need to disconnect. Each ear cup sports four microphones so you’ll be heard loud and clear by your associates. Here’s the real kicker though: The headphones offers up to 20 hours of music playback on a full charge of less than two hours. We’re expecting to power through at least three working days without a single charge.

Pre-order : from 25th August 2020. Available from 8th September 2020.

Surface Earbuds
If headphones are not quite your style, go for the minimalist Surface Earbuds. These resemble a pair of perfect glacier-coloured circles, and pack all the punch you need. The magic here lies in its responsive touch surface that allows for intuitive gestures. Simply tap, touch and swipe to skip a track, adjust the volume and even answer and end calls.

Unlike the headphones, the Surface Earbuds also integrates with PowerPoint — this means that if you’re presenting, whether in person or sharing your screen in a call, simply swipe to hit the next slide. Each earbud also has two microphones and offers eight hours of continuous playback on a single charge.
