BMW has always been synonymous with performance-driven luxury. This distinction has separated them from the pack while holding true to their dedication of delivering “Sheer Driving Pleasure” and “The Ultimate Driving Machine” since its inception in 1916.

What is Distinction?

Superior taste, elevated status and unspoken confidence have always been three virtues deeply imbued within BMW’s DNA.

With the theme of “Distinction”, there will be plenty for the entire family to indulge in this weekend at Performance Motors on the 15th and 16th of June (Click here to find out more). There will also be an unadulterated display of the manufacturer’s finest – that includes The All-new BMW 3 Series, BMW 5 Series, and The First-ever BMW X7.

As BMW’s biggest and most luxurious SUV, The BMW X7 stands out effortlessly with enormous presence and pure charisma, even more so since it also since wears the marque’s biggest grille ever. Here, driving experience was at the top of its engineers minds, and that’s where it stands out from its rivals.

Outfitted in a choice of two turbocharged engines: a 340hp 3.0-litre straight six or 530hp 4.4-litre V8, the SUV comes mated to an eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, with four-corner air suspension with adaptive 2-axle air suspension as standard for any spontaneous off-roading whims that might arise.

Its inside, however, is where The BMW X7 will truly spoil you. Its rich, leather-swathed interior is met with well-appointed technology that makes driving a joyful affair — regardless of whether you’re on city roads or in the outbacks. The Panorama Glass Sunroof not only evokes a bright and lively ambience, but also allows its passengers to feel the comforting warmth of the sun on long drives.

A slew of luxury features such as interior ambient lighting and a power-adjustable steering wheel are also on hand to make a difference. On the safety front, there are features such as automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring, and lane-departure warning systems as standard.

THE 5

The BMW 5 Series — the pinnacle of mid-size performance luxury saloons — will also be turning more than a few heads at the BMW JoyFest 2019. Its evolution since it first launched in 1972 has seen it dominate the segment time and time again, as each new generation boasts game-changing features and dynamics while staying true to its performance-driven roots.

New features on this four-door saloon such as Driving Assistant, hybrid technology and BMW Connected Drive all lend empowerment to its driver here, while passengers relax in a quiet, state-of-the-art cabin that glides smoothly and effortlessly across the terrain below with the latest in-car connectivity at their fingertips.

Engine options range from a 4-cylinder engine all the way up to a twin-turbocharged V8, providing the right type of performance for any type of journey that lies ahead. It doesn’t hurt, of course, that The BMW 5 Series brags sporting good looks as well.

THE 3

Long a benchmark for its class, the BMW 3 Series brings back the magic of driving with its latest generation. The BMW 330i features a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder that will conjure 258hp and 400Nm of torque.

The all-new Bimmer might have grown, but manages to still weigh lesser than its predecessor — thanks to the extensive use of lightweight materials — and looks significantly sleeker than before, in line with the marque’s new design language. Inside, expect BMW’s modernised aesthetic to take over, alongside a bigger trunk and a slew of high-tech options.
