As far as Japanese brands go, one that has really made waves in Singapore is Uniqlo — and for good reason. While the fashion-forward brand has collaborated with world-renowned designers such as J.W. Anderson and Carine Roitfeld, its seasonal launches sell out just as quickly. Last week saw the launch of the third Uniqlo U collection, emerging from the brand’s research and development centre in Paris.

Spearheaded by artistic director Christophe Lemaire, the collection is described as ‘progressive essentials’ for the 2017 fall/ winter season. While we do love our prints, there’s nothing like versatile basics that you can wear on rotation. If like us, you look for functional pieces that are stylish yet comfortable, the Uniqlo U FW17 collection has all you need.

From a sleeveless satin dress to a pair of chic cut-out sneakers, these are the pieces from the Uniqlo U FW17 collection you need to add into your shopping carts, stat. These gorgeous basics will help you elevate your wardrobe — not that you ever needed a reason to go shopping.

Prices range from S$7.90 to S$199.90 and you can shop the collection at Uniqlo Orchard Central and online. Additionally, some items are available in selected stores. The brand will also be having a second launch on 10 November, both at the Orchard Central flagship store and online. For more information, click here.
