The upcoming Bape x Coach limited-edition capsule collection is finally here after weeks of teasers.
Collaborations are nothing new in the world of streetwear. However, it’s usually between streetwear brands. These days, more and more luxury brands are dipping their toes into the streetwear scene with their own collections and collaborations. With the Supreme x LV collection being the catalyst of it all, it was only a matter of time.
Coach is America’s original house of leather, and its tie-in with the very best of Japanese streetwear makes it all the much better.
The collection features a fusion of each brand’s signature style while celebrating the unique attitudes of their hometowns, New York City and Tokyo.
There will be outerwear, ready-to-wear, and leather goods in the entire collection. This collection also features an interpretation of Bape’s Ape Head logo crossed with Coach’s signature monogram print. You can find the monogram across khaki, rainbow jacquard, and a camouflage pattern – it is Bape after all.
Footwear will also be making an appearance in the form of the Bapesta sneakers. This is in conjunction with the shoe’s 20th anniversary. As for accessories, you can look out for backpacks with the signature Coach Academy silhouette, all featuring the Ape Head Signature pattern. There will also be t-shirts, which are regionally exclusive colourways in New York Los Angeles, Tokyo, Paris, and London.
The Bape x Coach collection will also be available online in limited quantities in their respective websites.
It will be available in Singapore at Coach Wisma Atria on 22 February 2020 at 9:00AM. Prices range from SGD 175 to 3,400.
