Editor’s Pick: 5 bags from Celine Spring 2017 collection every woman needs

Spring/Summer accessory collections come and go, but some bags are eternal. This current collection from Celine Spring 2017 sees a new spin on some favourites and an introduction to a few potential classics.

Now that the season is just round the corner, there is no better time to show your appreciation with a gift for that special lady (or for yourself) from the French label’s curated range of leather goods.

Celine’s bags have always been sought after as a symbol of understated elegance, a quiet nod to those in the know. We bring you five bags we’d love to tote around from dawn to dusk.

1 /5

Tri-fold

Why we like it: While we know the Luggage is far more recognisable from a mile away, the Tri-fold shoulder bag is a less shouty way of filling in all your essentials. The spacious compartments also make us feel far more organised than we actually are.

2 /5

Trotteur

Why we like it: There isn’t much to not like. Great for days out when all you require are some essentials, the Trotteur‘s retro curves are an easy way to class up any casual outfit. We’re also fans of crossbody straps, as it frees up our hands to grab more ice cream (or shopping).

3 /5

Sangle

Why we like it: A spin on one of our other favourites, the Cabas bag, the Sangle is perfect for travelling, especially hanging around the club lounge waiting for your next flight. It carries all your favourite magazines, an iPad, noise-cancelling earphones and features a detachable wide strap that puts less strain on our shoulders.

4 /5

Frame clutch

Why we like it: The Frame clutch‘s monochrome colour enables it to be more than just a one trick pony. Its simple, classic shape also allows for more than just your cards and keys, and hey, if you’re a matchy-bag-and-shoes kinda girl, this is pretty much a no brainer.

Twisted Cabas

Why we like it: The Twisted Cabas‘ easy shape makes it a fuss-free everyday bag, and its minimal lines also means that it’s spot-on for casual Fridays at the office, or bargain hunting at the weekend vintage markets.
