Ermenegildo Zegna launches Elements of Man, a range of new perfumes

The first impression a man makes often lies in a few things: his handshake, hair, and what cologne he’s wearing. With Ermenegildo Zegna’s latest Elements of Man: The Life Collection, there are five different fragrances you can spritz on depending on your mood, letting you nail that first meeting with a potential client or date.

Each embodying a different masculine attribute, they are aptly named: Strength, Passion, Talent, Integrity, and Wisdom. And we could see why the perfumers at Ermenegildo Zegna have decided to go with those themes.

First date jitters? ‘Passion’ should do the trick, with its intoxicating aroma of olibanum, rum, cognac, and saffron. Headed for an important meeting? Maybe you could mix things up with a combination of ‘Integrity’ and ‘Wisdom’, with a blend of clary sage, pimento berries, and African geranium for the former, and citrus, Italian mandarin, winter lemon, verbena, and French lavender for the latter’s musky scent.

The five fragrances are all packaged in a handsome bottle with Ermenegildo Zegna’s signature elements. Along the cap lines and grooves are hints from their Peter Marino-designed boutiques, and the outer packaging features a leather fabric weaving technique known as Pelle Tessuta.

Ermenegildo Zegna Elements of Man: The Life Collection will be available at all department stores come end-October 2017.
