Homegrown fashion label Tocco Toscano and Arissa Cheo partner on a leather goods collection

Two Singaporean fashion juggernauts, Tocco Toscano and Arissa X, have announced a joint collaboration on a series of leather goods. The Essentials Collection features four versatile products designed for the modern woman to effortlessly transit from work to play.

A feature of the capsule collection is the bag-in-bag concept that has the four main products of the collection acting like a Matryoshka doll of sorts.

The Essentials Collection is now available for purchase at all major departmental stores, including Takashimaya, Tangs, Robinsons, and Metro.

Vestiaire Collective announces a charity sale with Fiona Xie

Kitty Pong is back, and this time for good. Together with Vestiaire Collective, Fiona Xie has curated over 20 pieces of designer clothes and accessories from her own wardrobe for a charity sale. All proceeds from this sale will go to SUPERHEROME, a non-profit that aims to help underprivileged children and those with special needs hone their creative skills.

Featured pieces include a Gucci gown that the actress wore to her Crazy Rich Asians audition and a Tom Ford dress she wore for a collaboration with the brand’s beauty brand.

Moncler Genius brings on Will Smith for their latest campaign

Not only is he a genie in Aladdin, but Will Smith is also the face for Moncler’s Genius is Born Crazy campaign. Shot by British photographer Tim Walker, the first image from the campaign gives the illusion that Smith, wearing one of Moncler’s signature jackets, is levitating in the air with a lit bulb hanging above his head. Fun fact: This is Smith’s first fashion campaign ever.

Ralph Lauren’s documentary to premiere on HBO in November

You would think that with more than 50 years as a fashion visionary, Ralph Lauren would have had a documentary made about his life. But the wait is over as Very Ralph, the first documentary portrait about the fashion icon is set to debut exclusively on HBO come November 12.

Directed and produced by the award-winning documentarian Susan Lacy, Very Ralph will chronicle Lauren’s journey building his multi-billion dollar fashion empire from when he was just a clueless boy from the Bronx. Intimate interviews with prominent members from the fashion industry like Anna Wintour, Karl Lagerfeld, and Naomi Campbell are also set to reveal a little more about America’s visionary designer.

Loro Piana opens a new boutique at Marina Bay Sands

Four years ago, Loro Piana introduced to Singapore their luxurious cashmere clothes with a boutique in Marina Bay Sands. Now, they are expanding their presence in the shopping mall with a new store.

The brand, appealing to their discrete clientele, play it safe with their usual warm colour palette accented by their signature colour, Kummel. The new store will carry all the men’s and women’s ready-to-wear collections and accessories.

Wu-Tang Clan and Clarks Originals come together for a second footwear collaboration

Wu-Tang Clan isn’t just famed for their impact on the hip hop industry. Their fashion sense and aesthetics are also part of their legacy, and now they’re back for their second footwear collaboration with Clarks Originals.

This collection focuses on the Wallabee and features a melting, swirling design inspired by the lyrics of “Ice Cream” and “Glaciers of Ice” lyrics. They will come in three shades – Navy, Maple, and Brown – and are available via the Clarks’ ION Orchard boutique from July 29 onwards.
