Off-White team up with Vilebrequin for the ultimate hybrid between streetwear and swimwear

Streetstyle mavens don’t have to fear the water any longer, for the cult-favourite Off-White has announced a collaboration with luxury swimwear brand Vilebrequin on a menswear collection.

Featuring just five styles that are iconically Off-White (think the inverted commas and diagonal zebra stripes) that have been transferred onto the slick tailoring of Vilebrequin swimshorts. The collection will be available in all Off-White retail stores and select Vilebrequin stores, with prices ranging from SGD440 to SGD490 per piece.

If you’re slated to attend Burning Man later this year in the Black Rock Desert, may we suggest crafting your lookbook from the Saint Laurent Men’s Spring/Summer 2020 runway?

Anthony Vaccarello not only keeps to the rocker’s vibe of the Saint Laurent man, but the more unorthodox pieces in the collection also give the wearers an eccentric edge that will blend in well with a festival crowd. We’re expecting nothing less from next year’s Coachella crowd.

Over at Pitti Uomo, Z Zegna plays on the notion of environmental sustainability (a cause Ermenegildo Zegna has been championing for 80 years) and artistic director Alessandro Sartori has created a collection that reflects that conscious lifestyle in abundance.

Desert tones are seen in almost every piece of the lookbook that paints a possibility of the most stylish post-apocalyptic world we’ll ever be living in. The clothes are functional as much as they are aesthetic, with ultra-light and high-performance elements prioritised for the metropolitan explorer shopper that Z Zegna is aimed at.

Here is how a pair of J’Adior pumps are made

You’re probably an owner of more shoes than you could ever wear in a lifetime, but have you ever stopped to wonder how one of your favourite pairs are made? The classic J’Adior pumps from Maria Grazia Chiuri for the Dior Fall 2019 collection is not just your typical pump, as seen in this gallery here.

Over nine hours, the Dior craftsmen meticulously produce each pair that boast around 230,000 embroidery stitches and are actually made from a single piece of fabric. It’s just like the shoe mega-influencer Chiara Ferragni wore to her fairytale wedding.

Nike partners with Stranger Things for a sporty capsule collection

Just a few weeks before the third season of Stranger Things drops on Netflix for us to binge, Nike has announced a capsule collection with the signature colours of Hawkins High School.

Now this is some handy merch, seeing as you’ll probably need some good sports gear to run away from that honestly-terrifying monster we saw in the Stranger Things Season 3 trailer. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YEG3bmU_WaI Or you know, as an encouragement to not be a total couch potato after finishing the entire season in one sitting.

The Nike x Stranger Things capsule collection will launch June 27, with a second drop of shoes arriving on July 1.
