Come May 18, Gucci is slated to launch an exclusive capsule collection with Mr Porter. Taking cues from urbanism, and the staple menswear tropes of tailored silhouettes and sportswear, the collection will include apparel, shoes and accessories that combine Gucci’s eccentricity with Mr Porter’s smart aesthetic.
Following in the footsteps of the Italian label’s prior collaboration with Net-A-Porter, the Gucci and Mr Porter range promises to have something for every discerning dude, no matter what your personal style. Familiar motifs like the tiger, bee and GG wallpaper print are returning with new emblems, such as the cat and skeleton, done in signature Gucci embroidery.

Visuals may not be out as of yet, but the 43-piece range will comprise highlights like a lilac fil coupé shirt, a yard wool jacquard crewneck sweater, a blueberry-coloured jersey jacket with paisley print, and a pair of iconic horsebit loafers in the GG wallpaper print. Expect bright colours, especially azures, Bordeaux reds and in-your-face oranges and yellows to dominate the line.
Prices range from S$285 to S$4,700. The collection will drop 18 May on www.mrporter.com
