The puffer jacket is in. Thanks to the disruptive lacquer Raf Simons and Vetements have polished it with, the outerwear that’s synonymous to anti-fashion normalcy is now the voluminous coat of choice for all style sages. Street stylers love them, editors are wearing them, and designers are reimagining them in all new silhouettes and styles. French label Moncler, though, decides to bring the trendy puffer to an unexpected, adorable new level: Durable, element-proof dog couture.
In collaboration with luxury dog-wear label Poldo Dog Couture, Moncler is giving your pooch’s wardrobe a boost with its capsule two-piecer. One is a waistcoat spun with nylon laqué — the primary fabric of Moncler’s world-renowned down jacket — in eclectic primary hues of blue, red, orange, green, and black. The other is a jacquard knitwear with Norwegian design tropes in a nod to the characteristic chromatic themes of the house.

Bundled up in vest puffers and snuggled in tiny knit sweaters, our four-legged friends are snazzily protected from the most brutal of weathers — come rain, snow or blizzard. And aside from twinning OOTD ops with our furry pal, bringing our pups to the wintry slopes of Hakuba or the sun-drenched snowcaps of Le Grand Bornand doesn’t sound so far-fetched anymore.
Moncler’s capsule collection in association with Poldo Dog Couture is now available in boutiques and online.
