Besides Fashion Week, July has also been a busy month for fashion launches.
Aside from news of an upcoming Loewe flagship, Dior and Louis Vuitton are some of the fashion brands that have unveiled new collections to add to your wishlists, featuring limited-edition leather handbags, shoes and other accessories.
Off-White has also chosen this month to drop a new capsule exclusive to its Singapore boutique, while fellow streetwear label A-Cold-Wall has finally given us a glimpse of its Dr Martens collaboration. Find out how to get your hands on it and discover what else is in store (literally) in our round-up of new collections to shop this week.
In the mood for love? Look no further than the Dior Amour Showcase. There, you’ll be treated to the new Dioramour capsule collection by creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri. The French label’s iconic bags — the Lady Dior, Lady D-Lite, Dior Book Tote and 30 Montaigne Box — have all been given a romantic update, whether with the passionate shade of red or a sprinkle of polka dots.
The same goes for Dior’s jewellery pieces, now featuring heart-shaped charms. At the showcase, you’ll also find an exclusive selection of ready-to-wear pieces, D-Connect sneakers, lingerie, Mitzah scarves and cardholders to swoon over.
The Dior Amour Showcase runs until 23 August at level 1 of The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands. Make an appointment by contacting the Dior Call Centre at +65 1800 4159 990.
Louis Vuitton has done streetwear, and now it’s doing street art. The Maison has unveiled its new Crafty collection, which takes inspiration from graffiti and gives the LV Monogram Giant motif a pop art twist. The brand’s signature bags, such as the Speedy, Keepall, NéoNoé and Twist handbag are now playfully adorned with colourful prints in cream, red and caramel. The Crafty Collection also includes small leather goods and accessories, such as pouches, scarves, sneakers, bucket hats and key charms.
The Louis Vuitton Crafty Collection has pre-launched at ION Orchard and louisvuitton.com. It will launch in all Louis Vuitton boutiques on 31 July.
Longchamp’s Takashimaya boutique has re-opened, and with it comes a new shopping experience to look forward to. The store is now offering an exclusive personalisation service for you to make your purchase truly yours. Whether you want to feature your name, initials or a message, you can get Longchamp’s Le Pliage handbags or other leather goods customised in a matter of minutes with the French brand’s hot-stamping service. And if you’re not sure what to get, check out the new green Le Pliage Club bag; it’s a limited edition piece available only at the Longchamp Takashimaya boutique.
Longchamp is now open at level 1 of Takashimaya Department Store.
Off-White fans will be looking pretty pink this year if they get their hands on the streetwear label’s limited-edition “Paragon” capsule. Available only in Singapore, the collection offers five women’s pieces: print T-shirts and a pair of denim shorts, all featuring a nature-inspired take on the brand’s arrow logo; a Saffiano leather flap bag with a pink arrow latch, as well as a pair of Swarovski crystal waterfall earrings that spell out the brand’s initials. They’re a great consolation for anyone who missed Virgil Abloh’s latest Nike drop.
The Off-White Paragon capsule collection will launch exclusively at Off-White Paragon on 31 July. You can also purchase the capsule via direct message to @off___white___singapore or via WhatsApp at +65 9088 8574.
A-COLD-WALL* x Dr Martens
After recent collaborations with Undercover and Yohji Yamamoto, Dr Martens has given reigns to yet another fashion brand to reinterpret its iconic 1460 boots. This time, it’s London streetwear label A-COLD-WALL*, who has taken the leather lace-up shoes and turned it into a sleek, zipped design. The limited-edition shoes, which are already sold out on the Dr Martens website, are still available exclusively at Dover Street Market Singapore. But if you’re out of luck, DSMS has also just launched Raf Simons’ Runner sneaker-boots for those who want a minimalist alternative.
