Rihanna’s style is a massive pop culture force. Hype follows the woman everywhere, and it’s unsurprising that her shoe collaborations with Puma have been rabidly successful so far. The furry pastel pool slides, low-cut camo creepers and mesh trainers were all teasers leading up to the big drop — the Fenty X Puma FW16 collection, released in Singapore today.
Branching out from shoes, the collection is a full-scale debut of Rihanna’s interpretation of street style. Japanese street culture contributes to the bold graphics in the collection, while the muted colour palette keeps the range wearable no matter what your personal style is. If her previous Puma releases were any indicator, the reception for the Fenty x Puma collection is going to be off the charts. We’ve picked five pieces to look out for once the line hits the stores.
It’ll be available from 7 September at Pedder On Scotts, and 9 September at Limited Edt Marina Bay Sands, followed by Tangs at Tang Plaza from October.
