Debuted during Oscar de la Renta‘s Spring Summer’17 runway show in New York last September, these white trousers are part of the collection designed by the brand’s studio team.
Firstly, kudos to the New York label’s design team of ten for putting together the collection after Peter Copping stepped down as Creative Director. The presentation of the Spring Summer’17 collection also marked the day when Monse designers, Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia were named co-Creative Directors of Oscar de la Renta.
Now, let’s talk about the trousers. From a distance, it may just look like a regular pair of white trousers, just maybe with a little more shimmer with every move. But take a closer look, and you’ll be wowed by its intricate details.
Fashioned with a silk base, this pair of fully-lined trousers is decorated with hand-beaded details. It also features a high-waisted fit and a wide-legged silhouette.
Not only are the trousers incredibly comfortable (thanks to their silk material and roomy, wide-legged cut), they are also surprisingly easy to style. For a casual and relaxed look, pair them with a cropped top and lace-up sandals. Throw on a crisp shirt, structured blazer and a pair of heels if you’re going for a more polished vibe.
