The French luxury giant has done it again. Chanel has once again taken up temporary residence at the same boutique as last winter at the fancy ski resort of Courchevel, France.
With its fully remodelled two-floor boutique of over 1,700 square feet, this beautiful space draws inspiration from the architecture and vibrant colours of Cuba.
In tribute to the fashion house’s Cruise 2017 collection (which was also inspired by Cuba), the scenography fuses the atmosphere of Havana with true Chanel style.
The store features a dark wood arch pierced with loopholes where visitors enter, deep-pile carpets in aubergine, wall panels coated with natural pigments on the walls, and a spacious fitting room in the middle of the boutique. There is also a wrought iron staircase is reminiscent of the historical boutique at 31, rue Cambon.
The Courvhevel boutique is stocked with ready-to-wear, bags, shoes, and accessories like the J12, Première and BOY.FRIEND watches. Jewellery from the Coco Crush line will be added to the selection come January 2017.
Need to take a break from browsing the endless selections? The brick-red suede and black leather chaise lounges and wooden poufs welcome you with open arms while you enjoy some downtime.
Did we mention that you may just bump into Prince William and his beautiful family at Courvhevel as well? The royal family enjoyed a private family vacation skiing through the French Alps earlier this year, and they may just swing by again this season. #justsaying
The Chanel ephemeral boutique in Courchevel will be opened from December 14th until the end of April 2017.
