With Hedi Slimane, it’s always been his way or the highway. This season, the highway is Paris Fashion Week, which the French designer has abandoned to unveil his latest Celine men’s collection on his own schedule.

The show is called “The Dancing Kid”, which might be a reference to ABBA, or more likely to the TikTok stars that Celine has featured in its recent campaigns. Think Noen Eubanks (@noeneubanks on TikTok), Anthony Reeves (@luvanthony) and Chase Hudson (@lilhuddy), the e-boys that have all been featured teasing new pieces on the French luxury brand’s Instagram stories today.

Slimane, known for his obsession with youth culture, is truly keeping up with the kids. Celine now has a TikTok account (@celine), where the brand will broadcast its Spring/Summer 2021 men’s runway show later tonight, 29 July, at 10.00pm (Singapore time). You can also tune in on Instagram or Celine’s website to stream the show. For now, enjoy a teaser of the show below.
