At 110 years old, Chanel is finally adapting to the times.

The Maison has announced that it will be streaming its upcoming Fall/Winter 2020 show live from Paris Fashion Week. This marks a first for the French fashion brand, whose runway shows used to be an experience reserved solely for the fashion press and VIPs.

Now, Chanel is opening up its front row to all of its fans, who will get to see the latest ready-to-wear collection by Karl Lagerfeld’s successor, Virginie Viard, the moment it hits the runway. Expect a grand setting; most recently, the brand’s Spring 2020 haute couture show was held at the Grand Palais in Paris, which was remade into a romantic garden.

Chanel has also released a teaser on Instagram with a glimpse of its upcoming collection. The short film, directed by Inez & Vinoodh, features American actress Margaret Qualley and model Rianne Van Rompaey standing by a scenic river.

Catch the Chanel F/W 2020 runway show when it goes live at Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday, 3 March at 10.30AM (Tuesday, 3 March at 5.30pm Singapore time) on Chanel’s website. Alternatively, you can stream it from the brand’s Instagram Stories, Youtube channel, Facebook or Twitter page.
