Pandemic or not, the Dior Cruise show lives on.

The French brand is going ahead with its Cruise 2021 show, which will be staged (physically, not digitally like its recent haute couture show) at the Piazza del Duomo in Lecce, Puglia. That’s the Italian region where artistic director Maria Grazia Chiuri spent her summers growing up, but also where she found a handful of artisans to collaborate with for her upcoming collection.

Her travel-ready womenswear collection will celebrate the traditional arts and crafts of Puglia, from its special weaving techniques to its dazzling “luminarie” displays. The show, which will be presented without an audience, will also pay tribute to the power of dance — an art form so intrinsic to Chiuri’s past Dior collections.

You can be one of the first to see it in the livestream below, once the show premieres on Thursday, 23 July, at 2.45am (Singapore time).
