Italian house Ermenegildo Zegna has long been the brand of choice for well-heeled men who distinguish clothing on the basis of labels, great silhouettes and excellent workmanship. Now Zegna presents Z, sartorial clothing for the modern man seeking a fresh look without compromising on refined tailoring.

In line with a new generation of eco-aware luxury shopper, the 80-year-old atelier’s latest collection reflects globally sustainable fashion. The fashion house describes its collection ‘A Conscious Lifestyle’ for Spring/Summer 2020, which was presented during the recent Pitti Uomo 96 in Florence.

The latest line of clothing, inspired by desertification, focuses on sustainable fashion but boasts urban sophistication at its finest. The materials are crafted through up-cycled and recycled fibres as well as from water-friendly treatments and washing processes, which include fibre blends. The label’s artistic director Alessandro Sartori presents the philosophy through deconstructed silhouettes, tailored jackets, Madras checks, iridescent motifs, loose outerwear, windbreakers, bombers and much more. The collection also features an interesting variety in pants — slim, cargos and carrots.

The Z Zegna machine-washable, crease-free techno merino fabric looks striking in colours of the desert at sunset, deep rust, indigo, off-white and shades of orange. These are refreshingly peppered with khaki neutrals, lime green and pink red.

Pair any look from this collection with the iconic A-Maze sneakers and show your respect for the environment while staying luxuriously fashionable.
