From travelling the world to collaborating with some of the world’s top fashion brands and hobnobbing with celebrities, local blogger Andrea Chong is on a roll. The 25-year-old first burst into the social media universe in 2012 as a blogshop model and host of a fashion web series. Five years on, she has amassed an impressive 279k followers (and counting) on Instagram, met the likes of Kendall Jenner and Victoria Beckham, and has cemented her status as a bona fide style maven.

But this took lots of hard work and sacrifice — such as deferring her university degree. Her boldness, perseverance and determination in eschewing the “safe” route in favour of something more exciting but unpredictable, perfectly encapsulate the qualities of PANDORA’s latest ‘DO’ campaign — which aims to empower women to be true to themselves and what they believe in. The campaign was launched last month in conjunction with the jewellery brand’s new Spring/ Summer 2017 collection. Chong is also the only Asian who is part of the #PANDORACollective, a group of global ambassadors for the label.
