You couldn’t get her a ticket to Paris this Valentine’s Day (travelling? In the midst of the coronavirus epidemic? No, thank you), but all is not lost. You could still bring the city of love to her through Dior’s latest jewellery collection, Oui.

It’s named after the French word for “yes”, which is all you’ll be hearing on February 14 after gifting your significant other with an accessory or two from the collection. Designed by Victoire de Castellane, it features rings, earrings, bracelets and necklaces that spell out romantic French phrases.

The collection is every Francophile’s dream: there’s a pink gold double ring that says “je t’aime”, dotted with rubies; a pair of yellow gold earrings that feature the word “toi” on one side, “moi” on the other; and a diamond-embellished “oui” ring, which comes in 18k gold in white, pink and yellow.

The cursive font used in the collection also lets you wear several pieces together as a cohesive and charming whole. Styling tip: make a statement by stringing together five “oui” rings, one on each finger. English actress and model Cara Delevingne pulls off that trick in the Oui collection campaign video below, capturing the playful mood of Dior’s new jewellery pieces.

The Oui collection is now available in Dior boutiques, so get on that V-Day shopping spree if you haven’t already. If jewellery isn’t her thing, why not surprise your loved one with some thoughtful (and actually useful) gifts instead? Alternatively, if she lives for experiences, you could also book a relaxing spa treatment for two, or plan a romantic dinner date at any of these restaurants.
