The Blues came marching in with new manager Antonio Conte, and delivered a season that made fans all over the world proud — by lifting the Premier League trophy for the sixth time this year.

Having dominated the field all season, the pride of London kept the blue flag flying high with not only the victory, but also the “Player of the Year Award”, an accolade which went to midfielder Eden Hazard, whose stellar performance also won him the “Goal of the Year” title.

So it was only befitting that as partner to the London club, Hublot presented its Classic Fusion Chelsea FC watch to the midfielder. Though the Swiss luxury watchmaker and Chelsea FC have been closely associated since 2015, the Hublot Classic Fusion Chronograph is the first watch produced in partnership by the two storied names.
Previously, Hublot has had a strong presence at Stamford Bridge, especially on the LED score display screens, pitch-side banners and stadium clocks.

A limited edition of 200 pieces, the 45mm timepiece sees a satin-finished and polished titanium case and bezel, which melds harmoniously with its Chelsea Blue face, a colour synonymous with the team. At the heart of the watch is the caliber HUB1143, an automatic chronograph that powers the twin counters at three and nine o’clock, a date window at six o’clock, and a decent 42 hours of power reserve.

The magic of this self-winding movement can be admired through a sapphire crystal that’s been thoughtfully made anti-reflective. At 12 o’clock, the Chelsea lion logo sits proudly, as it also does on the crystal case back — placed to be close to the hearts of the most avid of Chelsea fans, as it literally rests on their pulse.

Besides a specially-designed box, the Chelsea FC Classic Fusion Chronograph watch will also come with a blue rubber and black alligator strap with stainless steel deployment buckle clasp, and will be exclusively distributed at The Hour Glass here.
