Arguably the hottest spot in Uluwatu right now is the newly-opened Omnia Dayclub Bali, perched on the limestone cliffs of the Bukit Peninsula. As the first adults-only day club in Bali, the glamorous venue is an extension of the famous Omnia Nightclub in Las Vegas.
With music being the heartbeat of the Omnia brand, guests can look forward to a star-studded roster of top DJs and artists at the day club in Uluwatu. And just like its sister club in Vegas, Omnia’s design is inspired by the day clubs of Europe. It boasts three distinctive bars (the Main Bar, the swim-up Pool Bar, and The Cube Bar), an international DJ line-up for poolside beats, VIP cabanas that each have their own plunge pools, and a Japanese restaurant called Sake No Hana, an offshoot of the original restaurant in London helmed by Hideki Hiwatashi.

Opened late last year, Ulu Cliffhouse has elevated Bali’s humble beach club concept to greater heights. The day club, conceived by Shed London and Out & Out Hospitality (creators of Bali’s KILN restaurant and Mandala House villa), is a concept that has been curated by Bali’s creative community.
The 50,000 square feet property has been designed to make the most of its natural environment, featuring direct access to the beach and a 25-metre infinity pool surrounded by Saint-Tropez-style loungers overlooking panoramic ocean vistas.
Additionally, the space is also home to a music recording studio, a restaurant, a bar, an art space, an onsite spa and in-house surfboard shaper — so guests can definitely spend all day at Ulu Cliffhouse, which is shaping up to be the coolest new hangout for high flying jet-setters visiting Bali.

The Edge Bali has become one of most anticipated luxury openings in Bali the past year, and so is Oneeighty, the resort’s signature cliff-edge pool bar and lounge. For an entrance fee of IDR 400,000 (S$38), the venue is open to public guests looking for a sophisticated afternoon out on Bali’s southern peninsula.
You can either choose to lounge at the poolside area overlooking sweeping cliff-edge views or the restaurant and bar, which has both indoor and outdoor seating. Highlights from the food menu include bites such as soft shell crab (S$9) and baked Lombok oysters (S$12), as well as Indonesian favourites like nasi goreng and Lombok-style grilled duck in smoked chilli.

Jumping into Karma Kandara’s inclinator will take you down the face of a limestone cliff, and right at the steps of one of Bali’s highly exclusive beach clubs. Called Karma Beach Club, the newly re-branded day club is the go-to spot for chic island insiders on one of Bali’s last remaining unspoilt beaches.
During the day, the atmosphere here is carefree and unpretentious. Guests can take part in watersports, chill out by the beach, or indulge in exquisite Mediterranean, Asian or Indonesian fare, which makes use of fresh fish caught daily from the Indian Ocean. Come nighttime, Karma Beach Club transforms into a glamorous venue, with DJ sets, live music, cocktails, seafood fests, and barbecue beach parties.

The newest addition to the La Familia establishment (the group also behind Bali favourites La Favela, La Laguna and La Plancha) happens to be a stunning day club in Canggu. La Brisa, located on Echo Beach, probably makes for a great Instagram background with its shabby-chic design, oceanfront locale and stunning tropical nooks.
La Brisa, much like most of the establishments in the La Familia portfolio, is known for its rustic Spanish cuisine and inventive cocktails. The menu at La Brisa is devoted to seafood lovers, making use of local and sustainable produce. For instance, all fish served is caught by Balinese fisherman, and almost all the ingredients used in the kitchen are sourced from the island itself.
