Most would consider Milan to be Italy’s capital of fashion and design. It is the birthplace of Prada, after all; with the fashion house found on almost every street corner, along with other other Italian heavyweights like Armani, Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, and Fendi.
The cobbled streets of the city attract some of the most prominent names in the fashion industry, especially with the ongoing Milan Fashion Week, which is taking place from 19 to 25 September. It’s not a rare sight, then, to see international models, fashion designers, and some celebrities walking along the cobbled streets of the city — whether they’re heading to shows, after-parties, or just drinks at some of Milan’s trendiest hotels.

Palazzo Parigi Hotel & Grand Spa, part of Leading Hotels of the World, is located on the site of a circa 1600s palazzo in the heart of Milan’s fashion district. The building was home to a prestigious Italian bank in previous years and has been refurbished by owner/architect Paola Giambelli with interiors by Pierre-Yves Rochon, inspired by Milan and Paris.
The property is home to 65 spacious guest rooms and 33 suites, all individually designed and distinctively appointed with hand-selected artwork, marble, rich woods and luxurious fabrics. The Four Seasons Hotel Milano offers 118 chic guest rooms and three outstanding dining venues framed by an unforgettable 15th-century cloistered and landscaped courtyard. The hotel, which boasts a prime location just 250 metres from Montenapoleone Metro Station, exudes Old World charm with its frescoes, stone accents and vaulted ceilings.
