Como Uma Ubud, nestled among paddy fields in Bali’s cultural heart, is deeply rooted in Balinese culture and traditions. With Ubud being famed for its creative spirit and handicrafts, the resort aims to introduce this to guests with the Legend of Naga Experience in collaboration with Bali-established luxury jewellery designer John Hardy.
Perfect for two, the experience includes three nights in a Pool Suite at Como Uma Ubud, a romantic three-course dinner at the resort’s restaurant Kemiri Bale, a Como Shambhala Signature Massage for two at the resort, a cultural tour around Tirta Empul temple, and a water temple blessing.
Following the spiritual blessing, guests will visit the John Hardy Ubud Workshop, where local craftsmen will demonstrate an eight-step jewellery-making process. Here, guests will have the opportunity to work with master artisans to illustrate and try their hand at carving their own Naga Collection pieces. They will also be gifted his and her Naga bracelets by John Hardy. This is followed by a Balinese long-table lunch with John Hardy designers and artisans at the workshop.
With boutiques in New York, Los Angeles, Hong Kong and Bali, John Hardy is a jewellery brand that needs no introduction. Established in Bali in 1975, the brand is known for its handcrafted jewellery inspired by Balinese traditions. The Naga collection, for example, brings to life the Balinese legend of the dragon as a symbol of nature, reinforcing the journey from legend into symbolism and inspiring strength and power in the wearer.
The collection includes meticulously handcrafted sterling silver and gold cuffs, earrings, bracelets, pendants and rings that are adorned with precious and semi-precious gemstones all depicting the figurative dragon head or its scale motif. The coveted pieces have been worn by celebrities including Adwoa Aboah and Zayn Malik.
This experience is priced starting from S$5,271 for two people. For more information or to book the Naga Craftsmanship Experience at Como Uma Ubud, visit the website, call +62 361 972 448 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
