Global hospitality company Dusit International has its first Singaporean outpost, Dusit Thani Laguna, a wellness-focus urban resort with direct access to two championship golf courses. Apart from choosing between 198 tastefully-decorated rooms and suites, guests can also take part in the resort’s wellness programs that’ll leave them recharged and refreshed after their stay. The Barracks Hotel opened its doors to guests last December, which makes the heritage hideaway technically still new — the majority of 2020 was cancelled anyway. Besides heritage tours around the area (which used to be old army barracks, hence the name), guests can also make use of facilities at the other Far East Hospitality’s Sentosa developments, The Outpost and The Village Hotel, located right next to The Barracks Hotel.
In light of the pandemic and the changes in hospitality standards, One Farrer Hotel embarked on a multi-million dollar refurbishment exercise, which included the launch of Mint Hotel. Mint Hotel is a room category of One Farrer Hotel that features cutting-edge materials and intelligent design principles, fitted with antiviral wallcoverings, moveable furniture and the use of antimicrobial blind fabrics to allow the guest rooms to be sanitized more thoroughly. It is currently available for stays.
Parkroyal Collection Marina Bay, formerly known as Marina Mandarin has been rebranded and transformed into a “garden in a hotel”. The hotel opened at the start of the month with 200 rooms, and all 583 rooms are expected to open by May 2021. The majestic 21-storey establishment is centred around eco-friendliness and sustainability, and features stunning details like a lush landscaped vertical wall, curated greenery along walkway and tons of natural lighting.
Modern luxury meets heritage at The Clan Hotel, nestled in the bustling dining destination that is Telok Ayer. Here, guests can take their pick from 324 elegant rooms and suites, and spend their time at the hotel’s Sky Gym, Sky Pool, or go on a private tour experience led by The Clan Keeper.
